Some of the most interesting Italian wines of the moment, which will be trendy in 2016, were presented last 31 October. Selected by the Summit’s Sommelier Delphine Veissiere they were tasted during an unforgettable dinner signed by one of the most renowned chefs of Italy, Heinz Beck, La Pergola Restaurant (Rome), three Michelin stars. A panel of 17 Dubai based sommeliers, leaded by Luca Gagliardi (Rogue Trader Dining & Speakeasy Bar), tasted and voted the trendiest Italian wine 2016. Among thesommeliers: Eleonora Caso (Head Sommelier Zuma), Annabelle Lefort (Head Sommelier LPM), Garth Beer (Former Head Sommelier & now Barrel Boutique wine & beverage consultancy), Jean Sebastien Azais (Head Sommelier One&Only The Palm), Magalie Sohas (Head Sommelier La Petit Maison), Juan Van Huyssteen (Head Sommelier Qbara), Aziz Hathout (Head Sommelier Bagatelle New York-Dubai), Matteo Cecchetto (Former Head Sommelier Alta Badia & now Sommelier & Brand Ambassador Algodon Wine Argentina), Eric Eybert (Head Sommelier Whissle Group (Okku), Julien Coron (Former Head Sommelier Pierre Gagniere & now F&B Manager Intercontinental Hotel).
